1. Who we are

Blue Orbit Labs ("Blue Orbit Labs", "we", "us" or "our") is an independent studio that develops and publishes mobile games and software. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the mobile games and applications published by Blue Orbit Labs (our "apps"), to this website at blueorbitlabs.site, and to any support you receive from us by email. Some apps may have additional privacy information in their store listing; where it differs, the app-specific information applies to that app.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

Support and contact messages. If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and anything you write, such as your device model or a description of a problem.
In-app feedback. If an app offers a feedback option and you use it, we receive what you send.

Our apps do not require you to create an account unless the app clearly says so.

Information collected automatically

Depending on the app and the services it uses (see section 5), the following types of information may be collected when you use an app. Each app's Google Play listing shows exactly what that app collects in its Data safety section.

Device information such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size and app version.
Identifiers such as the advertising ID provided by your device, or an app instance ID.
Usage information such as levels played, features used, session length and in-app events.
Diagnostic information such as crash reports and performance data.
Approximate location derived from your IP address (country or region). We do not collect precise GPS location.

Purchases

If an app offers in-app purchases, payment is handled by the app store (for example Google Play). We do not receive your card or bank details. We may receive a confirmation of the purchase so that we can deliver the item you bought.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and maintenance.

4. How we use information

To run our apps and provide the features you use, including delivering purchases.
To fix bugs, prevent crashes and improve performance.
To understand which features are used so we can improve our apps.
To show advertising in apps that contain ads (see section 6).
To reply to your messages and provide support.
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the EU and UK GDPR), we rely on: performing our contract with you (providing the app), our legitimate interests (keeping apps secure and improving them), your consent (for example personalized advertising, where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Third-party services

At the time of writing, Blue Orbit Labs has not released any apps. Our apps may in future use services from other companies for features such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting or game engine services. These companies may collect information directly from your device under their own privacy policies.

When a released app uses a third-party service, we will:

name the service and link to its privacy policy in this section;
declare the data it collects in that app's Google Play Data safety section;
ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

6. Advertising

Some of our future apps may be free and supported by ads. If an app shows ads, its ad provider may use your device's advertising ID and similar information to show ads and measure how they perform. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

You can limit ad personalization at any time:

On Android, go to Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads on some devices) and delete or reset your advertising ID.
Where an app shows a consent or privacy options screen, you can change your choice there.

Apps without ads do not use advertising services.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

with the service providers described in section 5, so they can provide their services to us;
if required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority;
to protect the rights, safety and property of our players, the public or Blue Orbit Labs;
as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you before your information is governed by a different privacy policy.

8. How long we keep data

We keep support emails only for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up, unless we must keep them longer to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Information collected by third-party services is kept according to their retention settings and policies. Game progress stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

9. Children's privacy

Our apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13, unless an app's store listing clearly says otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If an app is designed for children or a mixed audience, it will follow Google Play's Families Policy and applicable laws such as COPPA, including limiting data collection and showing only ads suitable for children from certified providers.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
ask us to correct or delete it;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting earlier processing;
opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising (California and similar laws);
complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email support@blueorbitlabs.site or use our contact form. We may need to ask for information to confirm the request is yours. We will respond within the time required by law, usually within 30 days.

11. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete data associated with any Blue Orbit Labs app at any time:

Email support@blueorbitlabs.site with the subject "Data deletion request".
Include the name of the app and, if possible, the email address you used to contact us or any player ID shown in the app's settings.
We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, and tell you if any data must be kept for legal reasons, and for how long.

Uninstalling an app removes data stored only on your device. Data held by third-party services can also be reset by deleting your advertising ID, as described in section 6.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, such as encrypted connections and limited access to our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If changes are significant, we will give notice in the affected apps or on this website.
